i just ordered the witcher( the uncenserd one) and it looks like a great game, very good graphics but with good graphics comes the need of a good GPU, my rig is a Q6600 2.4, 3 gigs 667 DDR2, X1900XTX 512mb, and windows vista home premium, i have a 22inch monitor at a resolution of 1650 x 1050, so my question is at this high resolution how well do you think i can run the game? also the main thing that sold me on the witcher is the fact that its suppose to have a great story, how is everybody likeing it so far?

Well this aint a game, its a bloody movie with a whole load of cutscenes and coule have won the oscar if it came on the big screen.I have already finished the game. But apart from the good and new gameplay, amzing graphics, and a whole load of cutscenes and quests, this game offers a great story, which is the key ingredient that most of the rpgs cant get it right. You are gonna love this game.Just great

I got the game. I just have to say that the combat isn't NEARLY as bad as people make it out to be. I don't know why so many have complaints about it. Maybe it's because I'm a big FPS player, and the OTS camera mode with the WASD/mouse configuration comes very naturally to me, but I had no problem at all with the combat; with either controlling it or with the combat system itself. I don't think I've played in isometric mode for more than 2 minutes total so far.
