Not sure why you went with so much RAM, but other than that, it looks pretty good.

If this is for gaming personally I would only buy a 2500k with a P8P67 Pro.

I have a similar build, either you aren't specifically gaming or you were just told to get a total overkill machine lol :P Anyways my last piece of the build, the graphics card, was supposed to be here last Friday and I am not going to be here today so I can't pick it up until tomorrow... oh the torture....

This rig is beyond overkill. Well, I can only assume you dropped a ton of $$ into this... you aren't going to see much difference compared to people who probably spent half of what you did, but nice build regardless. You shouldn't be dropping another penny on it for awhile.

Exactly. Too much RAM as well. Could have just stopped at 8GB :P . Other than that, beastly rig.

You'd be surprised how fast you go through 2TB of HDD space. Some folks like me do not uninstall games and they take up a lot of space obviously. Not including music, videos, images, game mods, a combination of many things, etc. I never thought I'd blow through my 640GB so fast. I've purchased another 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3 a month or so ago. I've had this build for maybe 7-8 months.

Its true, especially if you're into video capturing. I used up like 4TB with HD videos.

parts are starting to arrive now I just got my OCz vertex 3 ssd come today :D, I think i will have to wait till next week for the motherboard and CPU as some parts were out of stock, so i had to get the EVO motherboard and 8GB or RAM for now. I'm so excited, i've been looking at getting a new case as well and i think I'm set of the Silverstone Fortress FT02B I like sleek clean cases with no windows.
