Old games you would like to see remade on the PC

The gaming industry is lacking in games like TIE Fighter. I can't remember the last time I played a true space combat game. Long live TIE Fighter and X-Wing.

Age of Empires 2 - Maybe remade into AoE 4? Probly never going to happen though cause they closed ensemble studios.

Age of Wonders - Loved it, it would be great to do something civilization esque, except like AoW lol.

Sim Coaster - I have to say I loved this cheesey old Theme Park sim. It made you feel like you had a purpose in working on a park, and was a tonn of fun.

Sim city - I think I'm just a sucker for sim games.

Master of Magic - lol it was just flat out amazing.

X-com - I know they are working on an open source version that could be pretty cool.

Worms Forts: Under Siege - I thought this was actually something they should have kept going with but I guess the response wasn't that good. I really liked it.

Most of these titles are very dear to me lol. Some of them are not that old but oh well.

I would love to get a remake of the wing commander series. I believe that EA now has the rights to this series and they did try a revival but it was on the xbox and in the form of a crappy game called "Wing Commander - Arena" they should be hung for that.

Ecstatica I remember that game. not much music in that game if I remember correctly. And you could not really fight back very well which gave it a bone chilling atmosphere. a good survival horror.

the game I would like to see a remake of is definitely Daggerfall. I would pay top dollar to see that, even if they did it scale it down a bit.

Deus Ex in the engine they used for FEAR/ FEAR 2 would be epic imo (Monolith engine...dunno).

I'd love to replay that game in a community remake a la Black Mesa Source

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Duke Nuk'em: Atomic Edition come out for the PC. Frick, I'm still waiting for them to unleash Duke Nuk'em Forever!!!!

Planesacape Torment, Fallout 1 & 2, blood, redneck rampage, deus ex.

Falcon 4, and I don't mean the in the way it was re-made with Allied Force (though Allied Force was certainly a welcome revision). Modern graphics and a new, more sophisticated campaign engine that takes advantage of modern hardware, but with the same original concept... flight sim heaven.

I'd love to see Homeworld remade. It had a great story and with today's graphics the space battles could look amazing
