for those interested "when the man comes around" is an old war song and this is a quasi live-action trailer. we see marines gearing for touchdown into the hot zone. some dude has a camcorder and its mostly taken from that perspective.

Screw these guys. I was so excited for Dragon Rising, and it took a massive dump on my hopes and dreams. This game has to be not only bug free for it to gained back what it lost, but it has to be really good. My opinion is obviously biased because of how Dragon Rising turned out, but Im sure there are plenty that will agree with me.

Good question. I'm still in reeling in shock after having payed forty dollars for that piece of garbage - and to think there were people claiming it would be better than Arma 2! :lol:

I never personally thought it would be, but I figured it would have been at least a nice alternative. Oh well :(millerlight89

Same here. It's always nice to mix it up in similar genres. Plus the trailers for DR were awesome as hell... so misleading. :(

i believe one could at least give it some benefit of the doubt.. they are after all burning MP competitively from the game in favor of MP co-op and will actually have a long story. their talking like 30+ missions here.. how long is codBO again.. oh right you can finish it in a day with a case of (insert drink of choice here) and time on your hands :P

give them a shot at redemption.. companies goof all the time.. look at square enix.. ff1 was so bad i was nearly GIVEN a copy of the vana diel 2008 when i bought it back when cause no one was buying them.

and ff12 and 13 are a pair of jolly good title's.. nothing breathtaking but remarkably decent.

ff14 despite its problems is being fixed in big ways and they ahve apologized numerous times for their goof. id say.. dont go hating it and never plan on buying it until weve at LEAST seen a gameplay trailer, or had a review. any time you do that its either because the developer sucks anyway or because the series has always been a generic set of fails.. like call of duty.. or medal of honor..

and we can all agree that opfp isnt a bad IP and that codemasters isnt a terrible publisher/developer. you want a bad IP go check out any of the EA sports titles or go look up team sigma for a bad publisher/developer.

Hmm, I'm gonna have to wait for the reviews on this one. The original Flashpoint games were amazing, but that 2nd game they made was just down right horrible. They need to compete with Arma 2 if they really want to gain support from me.

Actually Red River isn't the real OFP 3. It's just a spin-off of sorts, like Dragon Rising before.

I agree Codemasters should give the OFP license back to Bohemia (so they finaly do a real OFP 2).

I didn't buy DR. I knew it was going to be garbage and waited for ARMA 2.

Judging by the quality of the previous game: meh.

I'll wait and see what Bohemia has in store for us next instead.
