Hey I'm thinking about getting back into WorldOfWarcraft (WoW) again pretty soon andI'mhaving a tough time trying to decide on which class, race, and spec to be. I will be playing on a high population PvP realm if that helps at all :) . please support your opinions

Blood elf Paladin with at least 14 points in retribution (to get pursuit of justice) and the rest in protection. Here's the rationale:

  • People will hate you for being a blood elf. This means everybody will attack you on sight.
  • Pursuit of Justice allows you to hunt down anybody who was silly enough to attack you and found out that they could not kill you because of the points in protection.
  • Judgement of Justice is your friend. Basically prevents them from moving faster than walk speed.
  • Seal of Command for burst dps...or Avenger's Shield for daze effects...take your pick.
  • Hammer of Wrath
  • Healing spells (just be sure to carry healing gear...sometimes in BG I swap out to healing gear if we're heavy on dps/tanks, but light on healing).
So far, I've had tons of fun being this kind of paladin on my pvp server. It's funny getting jumped by a ?? warrior in Hillsbrad but still beating the warrior down to 1/4 life while I'm level 25. Also, if you use judged justice, people will love you in WSG. And again, people will love you for healing them in a BG (not too many people heal in them apparently).

Which is why it's a good PvP server race. The moment you set foot in Ashenvale or Hillsbrad, you're going to be targetted. It'll give you a massive amount of world PvP experience.

I played as a troll rogue, was fun with beserking. Orc rogue is also a good combo.

Whatever you pick, you'll have fun. Just try out a bunch to level 5 or 10 and then decide. Also, look at some guides online for the best race/class combos (Undead rogue may be the most common, but its far from the best).

There's blizzard's site and the GS specific World of Warcraft forum. Both are better suited for topics regarding in-game help and/or new players.

And that still does not preclude him from asking here.

I was mentioning so that they might find better information and the PC forum won't fill up with 6million new player posts. Everytime I mention this to someone, I always get a response similiar to yours.

Becuase it comes of dry and condescending. Especially the "..." at the end.
