Origin constantly crashesJC_Spot
What are you running it on, a laptop with 3 GB?:P
Never has crashed on my desktop. The worst I ever saw was the internet connection drop during a game.
They're both crappy forms of DRM which can require a player to log in to upto two or three services just to play the game they paid for.
EA said they were never going to do crazy sales like you see on Steam.... Sometimes you can get 80% off or more. Origin constantly crashes and hardly EVER has sales. I only use it reluctantly for BF3.[QUOTE="JC_Spot"][QUOTE="Zlychop"]
Funny how you say community size, Steam has been out since 2004. I'd hope the community would be bigger seeing that its been out for that long. Steam lowers the price on games a lot, yeah. But really, who wants to play stuff like this http://store.steampowered.com/agecheck/app/16720/.
Steam throws a lot of stuff like that in your face, the games people actually want to play don't get price drops that actually matter. When origin does a special its 50% off on EVERYTHING, not only some games that Valve wants to sell.
EA has a way more money than Valve btw.

Get a stable PC or learn to overclock better, pro tip.
With games like MoH Warfighter, NFS Most Wanted, Crysis 3 and Dead Space 3 being exclusive to Origin I see no reason as to why Origin won't become the industry standard for PC. The transition is already underway, SWTOR and BF3 kicked started the change, trust me. EA makes games people want way more than Valve does.
Trollin' trollin' trollin'Origin offers game that people actually want, where as Steam does offer a larger array of games but they are not up to par as Origins list of games.
Origin >> Steam and oh just because Valve made overrated games like CS, L4D, and Portal doesn't make their service better.

Failed troll attempt. Better luck next time.
"Nickelodeon offers cartoon that people actually want, where as Cartoon Network does offer a larger array of cartoons but they are not up to par as Nickelodeon list of cartoons.

That's how you sound to most people, son.
Can't believe it's summer already...
Zyamaman
Yea! I wouldn't even have Nickelodeon if they weren't holding me hostage with Spongebob!

EA fanboys really are a pain to deal with -_-
Comparing Origin with Steam is stupid to begin with ... EA's Origin is mainly (if not only) focusing on it's own products, while Steam offers pretty much every game out there, whether it's old or new ...
P.S. CS, L4D and Portal have nothing to do with Steam having their services made "better" or anything ...
[QUOTE="DanielDust"]If it's about trusting software on your PC, I have bad news, Steam gathers more information from your PC than Origin. You don't agree/disagree to have Steam monitoring your entire PC (games, hardware, network and 3rd party applications that are in no way related to games), you only agree/disagree to make "some" of them public. It was and still is, just hypocrisy and denial (Origin wouldn't be popular ever because I don't use it for anything but games I'm forced to which is exactly...Steam).ZlychopExactly, its funny how people think Steam exist for the greater good of gamers and fail to realize the other aspects of it Valve doesn't want people knowing.
You can opt out you loon.
By all I take it you mean the few Steam maniacs, that know there's a world out there, outside Steam, Origin (EADM) was quite popular before you (personally and in general) found out about its existence with BF 3.DanielDustQuestion: why do you try to fix these trolls and fanboys?; it is far more easy to just watch in the sidelines how they troll each other.
[QUOTE="ZombieKiller7"]LMAO yeah people who use locks on their doors are retards, for sure.Meh
Gog owns them both
Hilarious to watch fanboys argue about what flavor DRM they want up their rectums.
Low-grade feebs.
SKaREO
Actually, that's a pretty good analogy but probably not in the sense you were hoping.
Both the locks on your door and DRM merely give the illusion of security. In reality, neither do a damn thing. If somebody wants in your house they're going to kick the door down and get inside your house, locked or not. If somebody wants to pirate a game they're going to crack the DRM and steal the game.

Ok, be honest. How much is EA paying per hour? And how does one land a job as a viral marketer in gaming forums?

2 things are happening here.
#1) You are trolling. Then grats, this was a succesful troll, 4 pages in the PC section, 7/10.
#2) You are an EA viral marketer. How does one land a job as one anyway?
There's a whole heap of stupidity hidden in here.Origin offers game that people actually want, where as Steam does offer a larger array of games but they are not up to par as Origins list of games.
