Hey guys I need alittle help. I want to be a pc gamer because I have a ok computer to push some games and well im usually on the computer anyway so I have some questions.

1. I have a dualcore processor laptop, so do I have a computer that could atleast push fps and heavy graphics games?

I dont care how good or bad the graphics are just as long as I can get them to play smoothly.

2. If dual core processor is not enough, then what type of laptop would I need or what kind of ram or w/e?

3. Whats the best controller to use for a pc? I heard a 360 controller is good?

4. I wanna try farcry 3 whenever it comes out, will it come out for pc you think?

5. Would it be cheaper to just get a ps3 or xbox insted?

6. What places can i buy digital copys of gamse beside steam and how good are they as in support and how easy it is to buy a game from them?

7. I also wanna play Fez and skull girls, do you think they'll come to pc sometime or other?

8. Does pc get a good coverage of games beside console exclusives like uncharted or god of war?

How about jrpgs platformers and really long games that take lots of time to compleate or to play around with side quests?

I know this is alot of questions but it would be cool if i could get pc gamers point of view on what should I do. :)

Your laptop most likely is not capable of pushing frames in the latest games unless you are content with atrocious graphics. If cost is an issue then get a console, if getting the best experience is the issue then build a desktop. If you're not willing to do that then I suggest a console since a gaming laptop is very expensive.

- The biggest single factor here is the type of video card your laptop uses. A dual core should be sufficient for most games, but even at low settings a lot of games might have performance issues if you're using a low end mobile video card.

2. If dual core processor is not enough, then what type of laptop would I need or what kind of ram or w/e?

- The biggest factor is the Video card. I'd recommend 4gb ram or more. Assuming that your CPU is a core2duo (or the AMD equivalent), you should be fine CPU wise. If your CPU is a really old dual core model you might have problems with some games.

3. Whats the best controller to use for a pc? I heard a 360 controller is good?

- It's a matter of preference, but the X360 controller is easy to use, buy and set up on your PC.

4. I wanna try farcry 3 whenever it comes out, will it come out for pc you think?

- Yes

5. Would it be cheaper to just get a ps3 or xbox insted?

- Yes

6. What places can i buy digital copys of gamse beside steam and how good are they as in support and how easy it is to buy a game from them?

- Origin, gog.com, impulse, amazon and gamefly each sell digital games. There's others as well, but I think those are the biggest names on the market right now (aside from STEAM obviously).

7. I also wanna play Fez and skull girls, do you think they'll come to pc sometime or other?

- I think they are both expected to be released for the PC at some point.

8. Does pc get a good coverage of games beside console exclusives like uncharted or god of war?

- Yes, the PC get's the largest number of games and the largest number of platform exclusive titles. It also have the biggest existing cataglogue.

How about jrpgs platformers and really long games that take lots of time to compleate or to play around with side quests?

I know this is alot of questions but it would be cool if i could get pc gamers point of view on what should I do. :)

- There some platformers and Jrpg's on the PC but for those genres, consoles might be a better option. As for long games, there's plenty options on the PC.
