I am 28, but the only reason I really visit this site is because I started when I was younger. I can certainly understand how older people would feel uncomfortable mixing it up with a bunch of younger guys/gals when they spend most of their time with older folks.

Oh really. I don't feel uncomfortable mixing it up with anybody young or old. I've observed very inteligent young thinkers here. There is no age restriction on being an idiot or genius unless you carry it with you to begin with.

I would have to agree, I am 26 years old, and I get on here alot, I have met some smart young people, and a lot of dumb older people... Age and intellect have this Fallacy of requiring one another... (although age does play a role, a baby knows nothing, and learns, but then again, so many older people are set in their ways "closed minded" and one does not learn much that way,)
