Every time i find out about a game that looks great and sounds great they make it so that u have to pay to play i would never in my whole entire life pay tp lay a game online like WoW even tho its awesome i still wouldnt care because u should just have to buy it not pay to play i think the people who made the games like that made a huge mistake because if people didnt have to pay to play then more people would play the game because if i wanted to i would have played WoW by now but i found out that u have to pay to play and that ends my message:DGet a life, it's obvious that you're a little kid who drew teh Luigi picture. 2 things, 1) I'm glad you have to pay money for PC games, so that people like you can't play 2) If ur gonna play mmo's and not have a life fine with me, u nerd

If you want the online games to be free then you can't complain if they're not maintained at all. No one is paying them to. But then again you found a way to complain about the most popular MMO of all time so I guess nothing satisfies you.njdss4
wow you are dumb, Blizzard and other companies like them, charge people to play Massively Multiplayer Games so that they can maintain the servers in which people play. Otherwise, there would be frequent crahses as the employees do not care about you anymoretekno_monkey12I dunno, guys. But as a consumer, personally, I can't justify the expense with any of the experiences currently available. I've offered the following super-simple analysis before: the single-player games on my HDD cost me somewhere between $20 and $50, once. The very best of them keep me busy for a year, or two, or even three or four. I've dabbled in a few MMOs, and while a few (such as WoW) have been reasonably fun, have they ever struck me as 4 to 8 times MORE fun? Buy WoW and spend a year playing it, and you've put roughly $200 in to a game. You'll approach $400 by the end of your second year. Server costs and added content are the general explanation--the one we accept, as a market--and it's not going to change, I realize. (The system is a financial success, after all). But again, as a personal matter, I don't find the perks and additions which come from subscription games to justify their costing me hundreds more than my favorite single-player games. In the end, I'm in the minority among serious gamers. Even the success of free-to-play online games, like Guild Wars, doesn't seem to slow the public's appetite for fee-based MMOs, or the publisher's willingness to release them. Aside from us grumblers, everybody wins, I suppose... especially Blizzard.
I dont think its worth it personally. I have a decent job and can afford the money, but personally would rather be able to get a new game every couple of months than keep paying for an old one. For those of you who do it, fine. WoW is a great game, and if you enjoy it then fantastic. It isnt the right option for me.manic111There it is. Another way to ariculate the argument I made above is that were subscription-based games such as WoW undeniably, exponentially and utterly surperior to the best non-fee games, sure, I'd consider them. Good things cost money. But even if you consider WoW superior to Medieval 2, or Baulder's Gate II, or Half Life, or Company of Heroes, the suggestion that WoW is $200+ better than those titles is hard to swallow. But hey--it's all the more impressive a marketing triumph. Companies like Blizzard have convinced a gaming public to pay 4 to 8 times more for a class of game which isn't, in my opinion, 4 to 8 times better than the excellent games I usually buy.

lolzUmm... Dude... There are like 5 games out there worth buying that you have to pay-2-play for. Stop complaining, please. Majority of the games are free. I pay-2-play. So do over 8.5million other people. I'm sorry if they can't please the people with no jobs/parental support.Rockin_MixMasta
