i may have already said this but are these some good games 5 splinter cell games Ghost recon 1 and 2 advanced warfighter Sims 3 Demigod Cryostasis if not M Tom Clancys Hawx and no i can not play M games. or the Nvidia glasses that make it 3d and likea $100 graphics card (it will be better then the one i have). which would be a better buy?
Do you need a new graphics card and Nvidia glasses? By obtaining a new GPU, you're sacrificing gameplay for power. I don't consider it a wise choice unless you need a new GPU because yours is dated 2-3 years. You have another birthday next year (and another the following year) so the question is - are you a patient person? If you have strong willpower, I would go for the 5 games, but can only vouch for Ghost Recon.
i think that you should go for the games depending on how good your video card is. if you need a new video card on a budget may i recomend the geforce 9800 gt, its cheap and its a champ. i have one and i get 30 fps on crysis med-high settings at 1280x1024 with no AA, and 30-40 fps on far cry 2 at very high with AAx4 and at 1280x1024. fallout 3 max with AAx8 and AFx16 at 50+fps and oblivion with qarls texture pack xerox's distant LOD's and a face texture pack with the rest of the game max ecpt character draw distance which i have down a little. with AAx16 and AFx16 with HDR enabled at 1280x1024 at 60 fps+ a even better card is the ati 4850. thats gonna run you 50 dollars more but it features 800 steam processers and a faster core speed and mem speed. with a even higher shader clock then 99% of the 9000 series. both are great cards and will run you everygame out right now very well.
Don't bother with the 3D glasses. You need a monitor that has a 120 Hz refresh rate to even use it. Just pick up some games and maybe a new graphics card as well. If you're into RTS's then there are a some good ones coming out in the next few months; DoW II, Empire: Total War, and Demigod to name a few.
