I am guessing unsupported GPU since you are using laptop version of the respective GPU.

When did you get this problem?

I don't get it, please explain why? I mean you come here to look an answer for your gaming which probably caused by your GPU or integrated one as I assume and you can't update driver?

I was going to go with overheating or drivers. Not sure why you cannot update them.

Updating drivers means downloading free driver from the net and just upgrading...for free =)

That's required for hardware update which is almost impossible on a laptop. Driver is software

@horgen123: Im sorry for getting my problem mixed with my friends, what i actually meant is that dads computer guy said that updating drivers would require reinstalling the ENTIRE computer software, and that would mean that i would loose all of my data. And i have about a year of gaming of this laptop, and i dont wanna loose that sooooooooooo, is he right? Does it requiere a COMPLETE software reebot? Will i loose all my data?

I'm not talking about chaning GPU, I'm talking about maybe there's some fix for that laptop BIOS or GPU driver update.

@PredatorRules: I asked of updating the drivers would require a full software reebot, forcing me to loose all of my data. A SIMPLE YES OR NO WOULD BE ENOUGH! Sorry im tired and ive had this problem a long time, and im preety spoiled :p so the littles details annoy. So this time YES OR NO ONLY Plsss

I'm sorry to say but your dad's computer guy is probably trying to rip you off with extra money for "job" that any kid could do as downloading new driver.

And what does it has to do with reinstalling OS and formatting HDD???? there's a way to save your whole data like making another partition or backing up data with external HDD.

http://www2.ati.com/drivers/legacy/13-9-legacy_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc_whql.exe

download this and install.

Next time Google ati driver, I hope that helps.

No need in saving data, simple install and might require restart.

no updating a driver wont require you to reinstall your operating system nor you will loose any data. Updating drivers is the easiest and one of the most common tasks for anyone pc gaming. Just download the latest AMD drivers for your card and follow the instructions of the installer.
