Hey guys really need some help as I'm at a loss. Was playing my PC last Friday was working fine powered down all fine. When I tried to start the PC the next day it wouldn't start and when I say that wouldn't even turn on. I thought it may be the PSU but the PSU light still works and lights on my mobo were still flashing so there is deffinitely power getting to the mobo. I was upgrading my PC anyway to the new Processor, motherboard, memory which is currently in my sig. So I wasn't to worried hoping it was my previous mobo had died but it still happening even with these new components. My PSU is an Epsilon Quad Rail 1010W PSU. So what do you guys think it could be? Thanks for any input and if you need more info just ask.
Thanks for the input I have tried both those things everything seems hooked up and fine to me. I have the Coolermaster CM690 case the cable going from the on button to the mobo wouldn't be faulty would it?
Check the power cord that connects to your battery backup or wall it happened to my little brother and found out that SOMEHOW the cord was SNAPPED in half! If that's not it then it could be your PSU just died on ya.
Thanks for the suggestions guys took it down to my local PC world took a free look at it, tried one of there PSU's started right up. So I know what the problem is now :) Gonna be crossfiring in the future so could you lot recommend me a good but not to expensive PSU.
I would say try a CMOS reset, on your motherboard. Before you spend any money, it should of been the second step after Ionusx mentioned resetting the power supply.
