Geez, that's ridiculous. I mean, I thought maybe they picked him for the fact that he's gone from bad (worked for the Empire) to good (worked for the rebels as a mercenary) to bad (in Mysteries of the Sith) to good again (end of Mysteries of the Sith) to struggling with the dark side again (in JK2). That's the only flaw as a character I can give him. But boring? So boring he's among the worst ten? And he's higher on the list than Xana?! Ridiculous. Xana should be at least in third place on that list.

How can you put Kyle on a worst characters list? That doesn't make any sense. Haven't they read the last couple of Star Wars novels, they wouldn't find him bland then. Of course he did kind of get his butt kicked by Caedus (Jacen Solo).

It a little hard to agree with the rest of their Best and Worst as most of the games they have mentioned I haven't played. Still, Kyle Katarn on the worst list just steams me.

Kyle and Psycho are on the worst list? Someone is about to get a whoopin'.

These lists are so pointless, how can they judge wich character is better? HK-47 and Glados are funny, others have depth and story, some like Morte have both, some are central to the story while others are optional. Why they think one is better than the other I cannot say? Anyways if they include HK-47 they might as well include Minsk and all the other clever comic release characters.

There bad character list is even worse, there are plenty of worse characters than those wich are desinged to have no depth.

Also if they are going to pick a female character on the top 10 best list then why Alex Vance? Yeah she is well animated but everything else to her is limited to loving her daddy. Why no April Ryan or Jeanette?

I agree with Shodan for #1, GlaDOS for #2 and Sander Cohen being in the top four - though I would put him third. He was probably the high point of BioShock. I loved him.

Most of the rest of the list, I guess I can't really care about. After the top few, or the bottom few, things just get hazy for me.

I can agree to an extent with their best list, but the worst list is just wrong.

I dont want to nitpick here, but the bubble gum line came from a cult-classic movie called They Live. Coincedentally, it too is about saving earth from an alien invasion. It also has perhaps the greatest fight scene ever filmed.

I never found HK-47 in KOTOR one to be funny, he just talks about how he likes to kill things. Ther are maybe one or two lines that just made me smile. Anyways there are characters and games that are funnier, I don't understand why he made the list instead of say Max, from Sam & Max.

I love the Jedi Knight games but you have to admit, Kyle is kind of lame. He's like a plumber who became a Jedi. LOL Very blue collar. Not in the same grain as Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan or Darth Vader. But that's okay, I think Luke Skywalker is a little lame too. Kyle was coolest in the first Jedi Knight game that used mini-movies to play out the story.

No, Kyle isn't kind of lame. Like a plumber? What are you talking about? Kyle's father was a jedi, and on a quest to avenge him, Kyle learned the powers of the force as his father had. I agree that Kyle was what would be considered too much of a tough guy to typically become a jedi, but the way in which he did become one explains how it was possible for him; through his father and the incidents surrounding his death.
