PCZONE's 10 best/worst PC game characters

No Lara Croft? That just sucks. Plus I think Herman Toothrot had a much better story to tell than Le Chuck.

Having never played duke nukem...this post cracked me the hell up. :lol: The kick ass and chew bubble gum phrase was my favorite until now. LMAO!

I dont want to nitpick here, but the bubble gum line came from a cult-classic movie called They Live. Coincedentally, it too is about saving earth from an alien invasion. It also has perhaps the greatest fight scene ever filmed.

These lists are really stupid. Some games are big into characterizaton and have awesome characters like Monkey Island or Planescape: Torment, and others, like HL2 only really have one or two worthwhile characters. As humorous as GLaDoS is, I'd easily take any character from Planescape over it. They only take the best from each game, and then arrange it arbitrarily. And for humor value, where's Murray and Stan from Monkey Island? Stan was so awesome. His suit was like a portal into another plane.

What? How can Matt Baker be a bad character? Isn't he based on a real WWII soldier?

Even if he was a ficitional character, Brothers in Arms is based on a true story and Baker is based around a real soldier, so Matt Baker shouldn't be considered on the worst list.

this kinda compilation will always remain irrelevant and highly personal. how are you supposed to argue with somebody if he thinks Zangief is the coolest guy on earth? that's right, you can't argue with opinions. make it a poll and it might make some sense. if i need a couple of fat bald dudes patronizing me about who's cool and who's not from their messy conference room, i'd just....wait, i don't.
