I own an HP Touchsmart all in one PC and I'm thinking of getting a video capture card for it so I can record some Xbox 360 and PS3 games. I have a couple of questions.

Will a video capture card work with my type of PC? (may be a dumb question but I'm not an expert on this subject)

What is a good capture card that will work with 360 and PS3 (and future consoles)? I don't need anything fancy and I don't want to spend too much money. I just need it to record the video (and especially audio) and output it in different formats so I can upload it to YouTube as a video or save it as an MP3 audio file.

You'll need an external solution for an AIO.

Try something from Hauppage. The captured videos are the smoothest and best quality I've seen.

Black Magic Intensity series. Its what most of the top casters use to capture video from the 360 before streaming to Twitch. Regardless of what you are using it for it seems to be pretty top of the line and reputable. You will probably have to get the Shuttle version since I assume with the All-in-one PC you cant add a PCI card in. It runs around $200
