No way that's going to fly. If they go any farther into development than those renders, Nintendo is going to throw a big fat cease and desist order their way.

As a former Pokemon fan, I think a Pokemon MMO could be really successful. It's good that you and your buddies have started this project but it's definitely going to be a lot of work from where you are right now. Keep at it and make sure Nintendo doesn't screw you if it does well. Good luck!

From what I have seen from them, they dont mind as LONG as you dont try to remake their games or attempt to make any form of profit from it. Hence the reason there are like 10 current pokemon MMOs out there. And why Nintendo hasnt bothered with shutting down Starfox: Shadows of Lylat. Meaning that the devs should be safe.
