I thought it might be a good idea to see how many ppl have actually messed up their pc by not grounding themselves properly. This way other people can get a good sense about how safe u should rly be and if ur worrying too much or not.

Just touch your case every now and then. It shouldn't be too much of a problem. If you are truly worried, you can buy an anti-static wristband.

I only heard one instance of a build screwed over by static. Just one out of the hundreds, no thousands, I've read.

Ive built over 10 rig's and never had an issue with it. I normally build on the tile in my kitchen and never had an issue.

i find it hard to belive that someone mess up their mobo up due to static becuase u always touch ur case, my elbow always hits the metal of case or my fore arm so i never get static in my mobo

Honestly I think you are far far far more likely to screw your build with a slip of a screw driver then static.
