We're talking overclocking or NOT. If you buy the fastest parts but refuse to overclock because of the supposed risks, someone that only has mediocre parts can usually surpass you, and for a great deal less money too.

I can see both sides of the story. I used to hate overclocking, but that was when i had alof of stuff stored on my pc and didnt want to lose it all. I had to reformat and it took me about a month to get over it but now i dont mind doing it at all. Â
My rig is screaming to be OC'ed, but i lack the knoledge of how to do it.Motokid6
With your rig, I wouldn't OC cause you don't have to get 75-100 FPS on res like 1980 * 1600(or somethink like that) and AAx4, AFx16 and even HD if it is able...

Yeah, there's no chance I would overclock that. Too precious, even if I knew in my head it was perfectly safe. Wait until you need it, or just don't care about it ;-)
I overclock my system, but it's not really neccessary hehe, but like what a few people have said here, i want to get my money's worth and get something for nothing out of my hardware.
