Poll: How Long Would It Take to Finish Your Steam Backlog?

Let's be real. Some of us have an insane backlog of games that we'll probably never get to. Want proof? Well there's a website that lets you know how long it'll take to finish your backlog, and will also tell you if you will survive to see your library completed given your current rate of play.

The site is called How Long to Beat Steam, and it uses Steam profile info to compile statistics for playtime.

So how about it, GameSpotters. How long will it take you to finish your Steam backlog?

the top value in the poll is 500 hours...really? i have 103 friends on steam. even the most casual of them will exceed this easily.

mine is 4k+ hours on main and 13k+ on completionist aka 1 year 5 m 3 w

Also I have a roster of ps2, ps3, psp games, and some psvita and ps4 games. Also consider the pc's emulation capabilities, there are other games there to be played too.

Also some games come pack as all sorts of remakes.

To finish between 100 and 500 ( easy setting start to finish, few achievements ). To complete ( difficult setting start to finish , all achievements ) more than 500, will never attempt.

Clicked the wrong option by accident, was meant to go with rather not count. I thought 100 - 500 was the biggest amount of time because of the way the poll was set out. :) It should have been second on the list.

I used to keep track of all my games, beaten and unbeaten (before gamespot got an overhaul and adding games to your collection list broke). Then from the collection list, I would keep track of unbeaten games, which is currently at 111, though I'm certain it's probably closer to 125 since I haven't updated the list for over a year.

I figure most games would take roughly 8-10 hours to beat so that's probably got me around 1000-1200 hours (that's just depressing).

I hate when things like this are brought to light....I don't have that kind of time, damn it! Time to kick the kids and wife to the curb so I have more free time to game.

none. i have no backlog with about 206 games on steam and a dozen or so on other platforms. i've learned to never buy games ill "eventually" play. plus, i have a fulltime job so i tend to be more picky nowadays.

I don't have a backlog - I have no intention of playing the games I haven't already played.
