Personally, I am addicted to the multiplay... with the risk of sounding cheesy, it's fast and furious. And unlike the that crappy movie, it's really great. I am going with 9.0. The game is super fast paced, challenging, beautifully well-done, and original (well, to me at least).

What are your predictions?

The multiplayer is the best part IMO. 8.5-9.0

EDIT: what do you mean by "mess"?

I didn't find it that entertaining. Some of the controls are hard to get used to and for an RTS thats key. Its hard to select deployment area (I guess I was doing it wrong, but it only zoomed in on one point, usually outside of my area). Graphics were amazing and the detail was amazing also, but the problem is that those things just don't get noticed/used in RTS genre.

Well I wish every RTS had these controls....the camera is just awesome, all you even have to use is the WASD keys and press the middle mouse button to look in any direction and to zoom in/out. And click the number of the unit you want to switch to and it qucikly goes there or just click the unit at the buttom of the screen. And space makes your camera go to your base. And you can click the minimap too.

Did you go through the tutorial? When you select a deployment area, it pulls the map out to a birds'-eye view of the entire battlefield.

I gave it a 7.5-8.0.... why? because I'm having problems with the MP, sometimes my cursor gets fixed in the middle of the screen, and I can select any units! This problem was also in the closed Beta and they still havent fixed it.... and no, I'm not the only one having this problem, and I use a Razer mouse so that cant be the problem either... and I dont have any problems during SP...

And I think that the nuke is a little overpowered (it should, its a nuke, but its also still a game) and easily gained, I once had a mathc where they threw 3 nukes at use at the same fricking time!

I'm just hoping they fix that weird bug, otherwise I'm not getting that game (although I really want to... it reminds me of Ground Control 2 :D)

In heaven's name what kind of RTS game controls are you used to then? The controls are perfect in World in Conflict. It's definitely a 9.0 game, if not higher. The single player also has this great great cinematic experience to it. It easily beats Company of heroes in this respect... easily. It looks better, plays better and has a more interesting scenery too. Only thing negative I can think of is that it isn't out yet... it's a must-buy. Anyone who loves Joint Taskforce, Act of War, Company of Heroes and so on will absolutely LOVE this game and forget about their old favourites ... because WiC will be their new favourite game.

Well if you only have it in multiplayer it's most likely a connection problem. Maybe lag?

Deserves a 9.3-9.5

But knowing Gamespot, whom consider WCIII's "Hero Rush" a perplexing stragety, we all know this will be over their heads.

I say 8.5 to 8.8. Only problem with the game is no one knows military tactics. So hardly anyone plays good teamwork and when that happens the game can get boring really fast. I might play a couple of games online but its really hard to take people not working 2gether so I will not buy this game but I will have the demo on my HDD until they address some of these problems.

I think that the multiplayer and single player are AWESOME and most sites will give it a 9.something, but after Bioshock, Prime, and Zelda, I'm gonna have to say that Gamespot's gonna slap an 8.5 in its face or something.
