....and KotOR to me is better on X-Box. Personally I didn't want to flood the list with Bioware games anyhow, so I took the 2 best BG2 and DO: O.

Same with Bethesda, and as you see Oblivion is not on there.

By pure, I meant excluding hybrids like Deus Ex and Diablo 2. I should have explained it better in my first post.

Suprised Fallout 3 GotY Edition is being shutout early

While I think that BG2 is the better game, I spent more time playing Morrowind than the rest of the games on the list. Tough choice.

For me:

Fallout 3

Baldur's Gate 2

Dragon Age: Origin

why? because they are fun and well done.

The others, not so much.

The result (Dragon Age winning) is showing just one thing: newbies detected. I seriously doubt it would get one vote if everybody had also played, from this list, Baldur's Gate 2. And you can infer from my sig that I do like Dragon Age a lot.

Morrowind

I'd pick Vampire Bloodlines out of those without hesitating, and Vampire Bloodlines wasn't my favourite RPG of the decade.

The list is...lacking. :P

I have played Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 and I would still take Bloodlines over both those games any day. Now you bring Planescape:Torment into the mix... thats a completely different storygamer620

Planescape missed the cut, being a 1999 game......great game!

Just got back from work.....interesting, I'm kind of surprised to see Morrowind in last, but it does have some major competition here.

By the way, my pick was BG2, absolutely love it, but really, no wrong choices on list.

I wanted to set aside 2 games by Bioware, 2 by Bethesda, and an independent 5th choice.

Looks like they all have their fans!

Honestly, KotOR is more of an X-Box game. It can be argued that X-Box has best version of game not including mods.

I dumped probably around 300 hours into Morrowind. I'm going with that. It's one of my overall favorite games, despite the extremely weak combat
