how do u get dmc4 to run great on ur system...i cant run it in dx10 without it feeling like its running at less than 15fps...my system should laugh at the game requirements wise...dx9 runs well enough just dx10 that lags....including the cutscenes its like im playing in slow mo

Most games i've tried so far run well, but the one that really stands out is Mirrors Edge. Constant 60 fps maxed out with 16xAA. Looks super smooth and i even can capture it without almost no framedrops in 1080P

Well I have seen guys with 580s get in the 30s when they go into towns in the game.

What system and res do you play at?

He could have 4 580s that wouldn't change a thing in the cities. The game is more CPU hungry. My old rig had a Core 2 Quad at 3 Ghz and i had 15-30 fps in the cities with Acceleration Layer. My new rig rarely drops in the 40s with tons of mods.

My specs :Phenom II 945, 4 GB DDR3, Radeon HD 4770.

Games that ran sweet with 60+ fps:

• DMC 4
• DiRT 2/GRID
• Burnout Paradise
• Prototype
• Darksiders

Games that I didn't expect would run well, but actually did (40+ fps):

• Just Cause 2
• Batman Arkham Asylum
• Dawn of War II (as long as there isn't, maybe, 100+ units on the screen).
• Bulletstorm
• Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit

im runnin win 7 64 bit...i have 8 gig of ram...i get my over head down to around 1 gig with a browser open...but i havnt thought about doing core afinity...tho i thought i7's did that automatically with turbo boost???

Quake 2 runs 3D-accelerated at 60fps most of the time on my netbook with Intel graphics. It wouldn't install from cd to Win 7 Starter. But, I just copied the files straight over. :lol:

Most games, except Metro 2033 with Advanced DOF. Skyrim too - it drops under 60fps in towns even with a 2500k at 4Ghz :evil:

They all run beautifully on my PC

A budget title that I get like 150fps at all times. It doesn't look all that bad either.

But I average around 30-50 at least in that and some others(and a little higher), compared to previous rig where it can get below not only 30 but 20 at times...
