Predict the Score!! L4D2 (New Video Inside)

I think this game is going to get a 9.0/10 on GS. There's a lot of new content including weapons, levels, characters, more backstory, the new scavenger mode and in this video they state that this will be a more polished experience.

They also mention that they aren't done with the old characters as well so maybe we'll see them meet up perhaps or they might release DLC for those old characters. I still want to know what happened to Bills beard!!!

I still can't fathom how people can still believe that all of this content should have been released free as DLC. There certainly hasn't been the same level of hysteria when Bioware declares DAY 1 DLC for $7 - thats a disgrace.

The video contains footage of the new weapons, the new enemies like the Jockey and my ol' pal Doug Lombardi!!

We still have a whole warehouse of these things to give away!! Please take them!!

Game looks marvelous, but too soon Valve, too soon... When I reconstruct the DeathStar for the month of X-mas I may consider Left 4 Dead 2(depending on community feedback) included with my traditional of buying a Uwe Boll film and some chewing gum.

9-9.5. Regardless of it being released so quickly behind the original, it really does look like they've added a great deal to the formula. There is also a lot more launch content here (5 campaigns, all featuring co-op, versus, survival and scavenge modes) compared to what the first one had (4 campaigns with co-op, 2 with versus). Not to mention realism mode.

Seriously though, I'm guessing the 8.5 region. Also, Napolean Total War is coming out under a year after Empire Total War came out, there ain't no complaints about that. Boycotters are standing in the way of progress so that they can save about £20. It's awful.

I hope to hell that reviewers score it out of the box this time instead of on "good faith". What I mean is that every review for L4D was swayed by "there is major support down the line" ... which was believed because it was valve, and they lied. Valve released a friggin beta game and charged $60 for it.. and there are still release date bugs and glitches in the game 10 months later.

I take it you're not going to buy Dragon Age then? Day 1 DLC for $7 on PC. The bugs in the game are mostly derived from server issues themselves not the actual game. There are occasional glitches yes. But they're not game breaking.

Prob around 7.5-8 out of 10. It will lose a point for just being more of the same but with some updates. Then again Australia is getting the censored version where axes and weapons don't do the same damage, so that makes it virtually identical to the first.
