Your computer doesn't like RPG! :P
Is the computer just recently built? Check if you have the latest drivers for your motherboard and graphics card, if not, update them. I do not use the one's provided on disc since they tend to be older ones.
ok so my video card i know is the ATI sapphire X1650 but on the site i have no idea witch one to get because theres a list of like 10 so if someone would kindly get me a link to the right one, thanksSSJ_Tenx
Hmm. I had similar problems with my HIS x1650 most if not all the problems are gone now, except for one. The card doesn't like Need For Speed games: NFS Carbon wont install and Most Wanted installs but crashes immediately when I try to load up the driving sequences. Or maybe it just doesn't like my driving 8 |. I should be glad because it used to crash every game at random intervals.
I really don't know what exactly fixed the problem but here are a couple of things I did: I had an Nvidia 6200 card before I got the x1650 so some of the drivers where still lingering. I used a driver cleaner software to get rid of that. I pulled the card out of my system and checked it for any dust build up around the AGP slot and card itself. Checked if I had proper air flow. Upgraded to the lated driver package. etc.
Could you elaborate a little. Like; what are your os and specs & hve you recently made any changes? What do you mean by crash? (crash to desktop, freeze up, reboot, error messages, etc.)
Oh and for your graphics card, don't know where you're looking, but you can just download the latest catalyst drivers. LINK (if you're not using xp click drivers and software at the top of the page and select your os)
