agreed... it came out of nowhere and is the best RPG I know on PC...

some issus keep it back from being as perfect as a goty should be, but its a remarkable game of 2007

+1 on that, there are only two or three other games (all time) that made me feel the way I did when I finished it.

patch 1.2 is up already and fixed a lot of issues especially loading times. anyway, i agree with you TC. I finished it last month and it was a very great ending. It left many many questions. The ending movie was very cool too. i hope CD Projekt Red will announce about the sequel. Can't wait for the info.

The Witcher is indeed awesome. I'm on my second playthrough now, and i've noticed a strange thing with the latest patch. The game crashes more often than it dided unpatched, but in a way i don't mind. The crashes makes it easier to stop playing :P.

I agree. I had a huge grin on my face when I finished the game, and I plan on playing through it again as a pure mage build. Yeah I'm crazy.

I am glad to hear that evweryone enjoyed it because I sorely need to buy a new game. Am I missing something, though? I started the demo and found it to be a bit slow and the cinematic dialogue was a bit unnecesary (i.e. took too much time for what you received in return). Is the full game better than the demo? Did I not give the demo enough of a chance?

I think I broke my savefile in the Witcher.
I have to kill some people in the main town then get some drugs off them so I can progress with the story, I killed the people but didn't complete the quest straight away, adventured around for a bit and ended up selling the drugs I collected of the thug's corpses.
Now the thugs aren't there anymore and I can't complete the quest :(

One of the best RPG's created ever, period. This game sort of came out of the blue from a little known developer and it went head to head with the "big boys" and gave them, in my opinion anyway, a good beating. It had everything an RPG should have and more and i really hope it sold well enough that we'll see a sequel/second game/expansion sometime soon. I can only replay this game for so long before i need my new fix of Witcher-related-gaming.

I loved it. Excellent game and possibly the best single player rpg ive played on the pc to date.

The sheer fact that it doesnt have a LOCK ON targetting option and a jump feature coupled with artificially restrictive environments ( obviously to make travel take longer and to lower dev time ) are a complaint for me. I mean having to run half way around a zone because there is a 6 inch tall hill in the way is retarded.

There are three different endings but only one ending movie. no matter what ending you got you still get the only ending movie which is very great.

I think just the in game sequences are different but the cgi movie is the same. Ive beaten it twice, romancing both main women and supporting the nonhumans and the order and it was the same for me both times
