its on sale on steam. why do people like it so much? it looks awesome. but there are alot of mixed reviews.

Fun game, for about 30 minutes, THe combat just screwed the game up for me, it was very very frustrating, and no, you don't feel overpowered in the game :|
I saw the reduction on steam also. As much as I wanted this game as a boredom-killer for the summer; I know that I will soon tire of it. I'd rather buy a game that I'll pour the hours into (for instance I've clocked many hours on Left 4 Dead).
I've been looking to get a proper no nonsense action game recently, so I've been tempted to buy this. The videos I've seen of it look awesome, but from what I've heard it grows tiresome quite quickly. I've got a week to decide, so I might still buy it... or I might just wait for it to come down in price in the shops in a few months and get it then. Not sure at the moment.
