Ok I got a tr2-550w thermaltake psu, running a E8400, a 4850 and a 250gb hdd, i manbe getting a 500gb drive soon to add cuz 250gb ain't enough, question: will my psu be enough for this? or do hdd's take much power from the psu?

Yes, your psu will be fine. HDDs use very little power compared to the other parts of your computer.
