Does punkbuster or itunes slow down your games? Such as battlefield bad company 2? Also is punkbuster even worth having? (I have a laptop soit might effect more than a home computer.)

You don't really have a choice in some MP games about PunkBuster - and if you don't use MP then you likely won't have it installed. I have noticed no slowdowns w/ PB running - iTunes, though, can be a memory hog and if your system isn't beefy enough could slow down when running a more intense game.

Itunes is a resource Hog but the same cannot be said about PunkBuster.

I don't have itunes but I have a punkbuster in battlefield heroes online game to prevent them from cheating.

Punkbuster is a bad anti cheat system, argueably the worst out there. However some games may require it in multiplayer mode.

It isn't a resource eater, but Itunes definetly is.
