My friends and I play LAN matches in UT and Quake 2 in school. The problem is some people say UT sucks and others say quake2 isn't that great.

So...Which one is better? I say the original UT.

I loved 'em both, but it's been so long since I played either one to reallty judge. I would happily split my time between the two.

Unreal Tournaments 2004 multiplayer owned.. Because they had numerous fantastic mods such as ALIEN SWARM come out for it, and that game bar none is a instant classic.

Yeah but I'm talking about just the original. We would be playing UT04 like a mofo if our school's computers could handle it. lol at 700 mhz processors.

I remeber playing Quake III Arena, and having a blast, but then I played UT, and it was soo much better IMO ;)

They are both really good, though I prefer UT over Quake.

I would prefer to play the original UT over Quake II anyday.  I loved playing assault, I'm glad they brought it back in UT '04
