question about borderlands?

ok i have never played borderlands but i got a new video card screen and everything and i want to start buying games is borderlands good and is there still a big multiplayer community on pc thinking about buying it! help me out thanks

Get atleast one friend to play it with, would be even better if you were 4 in total. It's not that great with strangers or solo.

The game is great, but is REALLY boring if you play singleplayer

I bought Borderlands this sale, been doubting on it before since I don't really have anyone to play with. I was convinced though after some researching on different forums where most people agreed on that it's allright solo aswell, just much more fun with others. I'm sure it's worth the price on Steam right now.

I have played most of it through with a friend, and it was very good indeed, but i have also completed it on my own and its still good fun. I like never knowing whether your going to get a simple shotgun or a rocket-firing revolver, great weapon system.

I did the campaign alone too and l enjoyed it.

I liked the variety in weapons.

I loved it. I say get it. It is indeed more fun with a friend, and that coming from someone who likes mostly single player games. It's still good fun solo, but it's nice to have someone by your side protect and revive you when you get overwhelmed.
