Thats what I was thinking, just making sure because im new to PC gaming. I was going to upgrade my video card with the nvidia 8800gt over the summer...any suggestions for a new video card? Thanks.StupidHenchman
New cards are coming out in a month or so - I wouldn't set any plans in stone just yet. I would look into your power supply and make sure it's capable of handling a higher-end graphics card however.
I have a ATI x2600 video card. I can run Crysis with most of its settings on high.StupidHenchman
WHAT? Ok then we all who have more expencive and newer cards messed up BIGTIME.
No serious, that card will struggle at low/medium settings.
If you know some mega tweek to make that game run most high settings I want in to. :D
whats the big deal about crysis??? maybe its just cuz i havent played it but it doesnt look THAT good.

Thats not the main thing, the game itsealf stresses hardware more than any other game.
Crysis is for many people like a benchmark. cos even if you have a PC able to bring evry other game to the maximum you arent even close on crysis.
And a plus is that the game has a awsome story and the best graffic yet seen in a game.
if you havn't played it yet - Try it.
