If you don't know "The Ball" is a puzzle game. I only have the demo but in it, you use a man-size ball to work your way out of rooms via buttons and such.
Anyway, I got stuck in a room b/c to continue I was suppose to have the ball. The previous roomhad a button in lava, but it was a ball button. So I sent the ball under some wooden beams into the lava and pushed the button. Some more beams came out of the ground and connected to the other beams. So I walked onto the new beams and walked to the next room.........pushed a player button and then I got locked in a room.
I was suppose to use a gun (kinda like the grav fun) through the beams and lead it to the next room where under more beams, in lava, was a ball button. Since I had not done that and walls had come up all around me, I could not go back and get the ball nor proceed.
It's mistakes like this that make me always question what is going on in a game. This is why I don't like puzzle games. I always think the developer screwed up, instead of actually thinking the puzzle through. For that matter, it goes for any game. I second guess everything wondering if I'm acutally doing it right but think the devs screwed up.
Anyone else?
