I'm camping in front of my PC but wheres teh preload !?! Ordered it off steam last week hoping there was gonna be a preload, apparently D2D custommers CAN start preloading today according to the Steam community forums. And i thought it used Steamworks for DRM so how is it Steam customers are getting shafted ?
Wanting to get it, but can't seem to pull the trigger. Think I'll wait to some gamers review it on here. Most gamers on here give honest reviews. Just hard to preorder after being burnt numerous times doing just that. I'm not preordering any more. For the little bit of things they offer, it's just not worth it IMO.
Picking up rage waited a very long time for this..Cant believe ive got tue off coolin..Have dark souls same day..Also 2k12 all three hey cant go wrong with 20 bucks for 2k12 lol

It's such a letdown! Developers release the beta so guys like you with complaints will vocalize them and let them know what they should fix FOR YOU! Such an immature prepubescent attitude you're displaying. I hate when Beta's are released, for some reason ignorants feel like the "BETA" is the final product. WAH!

You have issues. I do not like it at all, why do you care if the game is terrible for me and I'm not buying till a huge price drop? I don't care about them making this game better, it's already too late. Pubescent attitude would be what you're doing, whining at others because you feel hurt for a game you want that's in a bad state, you're also the only one "crying".

Most shooters these days are 10 hours..Fifteen hours seams plenty in a game where the devs say its longer..Hell crysis 2 wasnt that long but i enjoyed it..Doom was pretty short if i remember..Most game other than open world are short..If mods will expand on the world its worth every penny for me..Hopefully some one will turn this engine into a true rpg..Its got plenty of potential to do so doesn it..Why does it not surprise you that its a pure fps..Its from id did you expect less???Think the game looks pretty cool, its different for sure..Well ill be enjoying it on tue )..

I can't wait to see what kind of mods happen for Rage. It'll take some time, but I'm really interested to see some total conversions.
Noop, not buying this game. After the reviews, which I suspect will show the game being rather average, I might look into picking it up cheap. I wouldn't pay full price for this on PC, and certainly not $60, you could never convince me that a game like this is worth $60 on PC.
Its a game made by ID, I'm no fanboy but their games are games you just skip. I will buy a hard copy from the gamestation in croydon not only because I like having the box and disc but also because the girl that works on the weekdays is hot... yah Im honest.

There's only one kind of mod I really want :P, the rest I want some nice surprises, anything from extra content to game conversions (some nice derby arenas for cars would be nice too).

I'm pretty excited about Rage. I feel that BF3 and Skyrim are stealing most of the headlines this fall, but Rage has a chance to be a truly great game. I will wait for some reviews before plunking down my hard-earned cash, but I will most likely buy it within a few months of release. I'm really hoping for a playable PC demo. I tend to buy games much more often when I've had a chance to play a demo.
I'm getting it day one :D It's a short day for me at school too, and Gamestop is right next door. Gonna be amazing.

I will definitely be getting it. I planned to buy it on day one... unfortunately I had an emergency come up. Plus, I still need to finish The Witcher 1 & 2. I will probably end up waiting til after BF3 & Skyrim now.

I know right? :) But then again, you should never judge a BETA for what the final product will be. In BF3's case, Operation Metro map is one of the worse maps that the game has to offer. Not a great way to market BF3 with a silly map... but have faith that the final game will absolutely blow your mind. All you have to do is look into the game's other maps and features and you will see. This BETA doesn't do the game any justice.

Operation Metro is one hell of a map. The only faults I see with it is that the park either needs a redesign or the need to move M-COM A, and they could give attackers a bit more room with the third set of MCOMS. If Metro the worst it'll have, BF3 has GOTY all wrapped up.
I wanted to buy another copy for Rage (hard copy) but it's from a UK website.. Is that okay? Will it be region locked?Elann2008
