Dunno if it has been mentioned before, but there are no graphical settings. The game will auto-detect and set your graphics accordingly based on your hardware.

Not sure if I hate or like this.
Guess I'll find out in 2 days.
Yea i'm having mixed feelings about the auto detect settings too, dosent detract me from pre-ordering / buying but now i'm concerned if it'll do well on my Asus G74SX. Most games auto-detect my settings as low-med. even though i can do 30-35fps on high. Its to stop those idiots who say things dont run well on pc when they cant max the game.[QUOTE="ChubbyGuy40"]
[QUOTE="Elann2008"]I'm worried auto-detect won't push "my" graphics settings to maxed. Elann2008
Well do you really think a company like id software would really manage to get stuff like that messed up?
Yes they can. They "already messed up" when they didn't put graphical settings. I mean, for a company like id software, how could they not? See what I just did there? Even an amateur company with no solid backing or experience could do it and they have done it. I don't see why id software, who has the tech can't do something that would be so simple for them.
What DanielDust said is my point exactly. What if I don't run my game at Medium 60fps, but I want it High at 45fps? Will it auto-detect what I want? Sure, you can go into the video ini file and all that, but that's besides my point. My point is Rage won't even have graphical settings at all. That's pretty archaic.
This is worse than Crysis 2's launch, at least you can select low, medium and high. Also, I found this:The auto setting thing is really disappointing. Just like Crysis 2's kiddie settings only worse.. Then again at least you have AA in Rage.nutcrackrAssuming you have an Nvidia card, AMD (at least 5xxx-6xxx) is SOL, not really even playable.
