Depends what you want out of an KB. Its not going to make you a messiah but overall give you a much different feel. Loud click clacky keys with tactile feedback useful for rts, but some say the cherry blue switch affects your gameplay for arena games. Im not too sure on that since I dont play arenas since they became ousted from mainstream but so far I dont have problems with double tapping too much. You may want to try them out at retail if you have chance, the keys are a bit heavy/tough for typing but fine for gaming, I heard cherry browns that are on the stealth editions are lighter switches.
Overall the built is very sturdy, insanely bright leds that are independently lit on each keys better value than logitechs upper end offering imo. I believe ione(sp??) or some other company is making these boards for razer so the build grade should be mid-tier better than typical razer stuff.
I've still yet to figure out why the 1066 memory is running at 667. If you have any ideas, feel free to PM me!

I can't say I know much about this subject, but from what I understand, it's reporting the memory as running at 667MHz because it's DDR, or "Dual Data Rate" memory. In other words, it's reporting the memory rate as half of i's true value, in this case being ~1333MHz.
I guess this means I've gotta post my setup now. It's a bit of an eyesore right now; I'm doing a few little modifications to the case it's normally housed in. I'm hoping to get it finished in this coming week.
exchanged motherboard since last post, made a bunch of minor changes too that most people wouldn't even notice or care about...
it's almost complete, going to add a second gtx 580 when prices go down and possibly get a decent sound set up and a cable card.
my cpu temps seemed to have jumped about 10 degrees since installing the new motherboard... could this be because of the new thermal compound? it had pre applied thermal compound on it before, i put on some antec formula 7 because it was the only thing i could pick up locally. it seemd a lot more dry and thick than what i'm used to... wasn't even spreadable, did the glob and press methoud instead.
Thanks! I didn't really start out trying for it that much, but then all the pieces that I chose ended up that way. Except for the motherboard power cable which was rainbow colored... that had to go once I built the thing.jcbullen
Lol, I can only imagine how that would look :P

Except for the motherboard power cable which was rainbow colored... that had to go once I built the thing.jcbullenmy psu has all the cords wrapped in black mesh, but the ends where still showing all the colored wiring, i fixed that with electrical tape... it was really bugging me. i will have to go and do a bit better cable management on mine soon too, it looks a bit too messy for my tastes at the moment. the extended atx made it a lot harder to make the cable management look good, it was much better on the micro atx. but i didn't want to be stuck with a micro atx... decided to send it back while i still could.
The case ended up being the thing that took me the longest to decide so thanks! I was floating a bunch of ideas around, but then the white Phantom came around and I fell in love. Plus, my previous case was an NZXT and it had done well. @arneezy21 What, my second monitor stacked on yearbooks on a crappy blue storage thing isn't nice? Yes, I suppose that would be my next upgrade, also I'd like to fit my tower under a desk, dunno if that would work though since it's so large. @MuD3 I'm really digging that black and red, one of my favorite color combos.@jcbullen I love that White Phantom you have with the side window instead of the metal mesh. Makes me wish I had goten that one :P
BPoole96
MuD3Very nice.. Jcbullen and BPoole96 have nice case interiors too, but yours is my personal favorite so far.. I'm going to paint the inside of my case black and install matching components when I'm done with a few projects on the house...
[QUOTE="superclocked"]Wow, that is some intense gear you got going. Reminds of a muscle car or something lol. Looks very cool (in both way :D)Thanks :) My radiator probably could cool a 4 cyclinder, lol.. I've got a 4.5GHz C2D, 2GHz 750i, NF200 chip, and 1GHz Fermi hooked to the same loop. And even though my GPU is last in the loop, the temp stays in the mid 40's at full load when the radiator fans are running...

And I get the first post since I created the thread :P

Very nice setup, you pretty much have the same as mine. Other then you have a solid state hdd and I got 12 gigs of memory. Do you use your solid state as your boot drive, if so, how fast do you boot up?
Had a Phenom IIx4 965 BE, but upgraded to a 1100T (Birthday gift) and got an Asus Motherboard for christmas. Gave my old motherboard and CPU to my brother as a christmas gift.
Will post screenshots of my setup later
I'll add mine to the new thread as well. Specs in sig + Sharp Aquos 42in. 1080p, + PS3 slip 120GB (behind TV)
Really nice setups in here! Some of you really really need new desks lol.arneezy21This is a fact, yet I haven't found a good solid one that won't break the bank ;)

If I power on, walk to the bathroom and back, it's usually up and waiting for me to login. I will probably get a larger one though as 60GB really isn't that much for a boot drive. I'd say even a 120 or 128 would be better. I also have 3 2TB drives ready to configure RAID for storage, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
ha the lego star destroyer is awesome. wish I had one/ thanks, but oh man i think its falling apart because it always creaks when the desk moves and im so paranoid that thing is going to fall.......[QUOTE="MW2ismygame"]

Im guessing thats the new Corsair mech boards, nom nom/10. Reminds me of the old g15 logitech. Hows the feel and the key switch?
I love it. I actually had the K60, before the K90 above. I wanted backlighting, which the K60 did not have. However, I do miss the K60's contoured red WASD keys, which are ideal for gaming. Both use MX Cherry reds, except the F row keys, and Print Screen, Pause/Break, etc. which are rubber dome. Every key is backlit. The Cherry reds feel great. I personally like them over Blue, and Blacks. Blackwidow Ultimate use MX blue, fyi, which I also had, but returned it. I wanted the Blackwidow Steatlth with MX browns, but it was sold out everywhere. The K90 feels great to type and game. Very fast actuation. Quality is typical Corsair. Real aluminum faceplate, with great quality. 2 year warranty.Im guessing thats the new Corsair mech boards, nom nom/10. Reminds me of the old g15 logitech. Hows the feel and the key switch?

Man, the two speakers inside the chair was a nice touch! I'm sure when you play, you never want to leave that chair. Full immersion.

Some very good looking computers here, and nice chair superclocked! I'll toss my setup here since I finally took time to manage the cables between the computer and peripherals. Also installed a dedicated outlet with switch control for the speakers. The two reasons being that they can't be connected to the same strip as the computer because of distortions, and I wanted to be able to turn them off at the same time from the table.
