I'm upgrading my comp and i need you to rate it. Don't treat me like a noob, this is my second account and i dont want to diclose my username but i had a level 28 and 8300 posts.

 Here is the upgraded computer

Amd X2 4400 @ 2.2 gighrtz

 Nvidia EVGA  8800 GTS superclocked 640 mb's

Coolmaster Liquid CPU Cooling System

Aspire Full tower Case

550 Watt Antec SLI ready PCU

 EVGA SLI Mobo S939

 2 gigs of corsair Ram

And my monitor which i just got.. Please rate that...

 Samsung 26" Widescreen HDTV LCD Display with 4000:1 contrast ration and 8ms Response time

And a VGA input

Hm. Looks good enough. What motherboard is the eVGA SLI mobo s939? Socket 939, right?

I dont know the exact type of mobo but yes it is s939 Evga sli mobo, nothing special it was like 150 bucks

cpu a little weak.. 7/10 on gaming rig scale

 

and ofcourse the LCD is 10/10..

he just needs to overclock a lil bit.  Upgrading to a Core 2 Duo would mean buying a new motherboard, CPU and RAM, because Socket 939 CPU's use DDR400 (PC3200) memory, and below. No DDR2 for us Socket 939'ers

its a little weak, itll last at most 1 year more, but it should be fine for those 2 games

I don't want to go into specifics but there are different ways. Try googling it, or going to the Overclocking Union. Anyway, the Cooler Master Liquid Cooling system is alright. I'm guessing it's the Aquagate model? Anyway, you can probably take it to 2.4, 2.6 pretty easily. And don't worry, your CPU is probably one of the higher end models in the Socket 939 line.

 

BTW, I would change your sig to say Corsair instead of ...w/e you wrote.

the most basic way is to go into the BIOS and change the CPU frequency, but there are things like the FSB that have to be factored in. I haven't overclocked my CPU much. I took it to 2.6, then I brought it back down.

Sorry it was a typo the monitor is a Sumsung 23" 3000:1 contrast ratio 8ms.. But still badass
