did you try to update ur firmware ? or did you just install the razer mamba configurator with synapse memory ? try to go in safe-mode see if ur cursor move ? and keep unplug / plug ur usb till it work if not. you look like ul have to perform a unbrick solution
iv performed it once cause the window XP Crashed in the Firmware update but i ad to perform the driver update the mouse DPI Wasn't any near smooth as of now since the Driver 1.05 : i could finalyl have stable DPI At 1200-1800dpi to 5600dpi for fast moving's

you can try it : else rma ur mouse in the worst case but it maybe Bricked : look for the tech support anyway
I've exactly same problem like yours, it happens this morning, the mouse cursor started difficult to move, and few mins later, it won't move at all,
I tried my mamba on other computer in Windows XP and Vista, have the same problem, it seems like the sensor is dead,
but my other buttons, wheels are working fine, only the sensor is not working, probably deaD?
this is bad :( i bought this mouse less than a year.... i filled a ticket at razer site about this problem, I hope they can help.
Make sure you have the latest drivers and software. MMake sure the lazer is clean. Otherwise it may be broken, try returning it to where you bought it from.
i have the same problem with my new mamba. its been working fine the first 2 days ive had it and then all of a sudden its not moving. and when it does move its just side to side. i downloaded the current firmware and drivers and still a no go :(gengomerpyleYeah, before my mamba completely stop working, it did only run like only side to side but not up and down and it's not smooth, getting worse until it's dead anyway, last month i sent it back to my local distrubutor, replaced a new mamba mice for me, now it works like it should be, just worried one day it break again.. :( sad to say that, your problem 98% same as mine, get a replacement immediately :) , you will get a new one.
Another thing is,
every manufacturer has imperfect products, nothing is perfect,
I owned a logitech gaming mouse before, it's dead in 3 years usage time, power disconnections when using it, sometime it didn't work at all.
well, we are the unlucky ones, :) and thats what warranty for
I think after reading this forum at the end of the day we can all be reassured that we're not alone in this predicament that persiststhrough the line of RazerMambas. Mine also just recently died on me, same problem as the rest of ya'll. I'm just going to fill out a ticket and hope for the best.
how did it die ? usually only the battery can refuse to work or you can sort of brick the mouse but it possible to unbrick it : i ad sort of bricked mine ad to use that http://www.gotgames.com.au/forums/hardware-133/how-unbrick-razer-mamba-56354/ worked flawlessly but it was like half bricked only follow 4 of the step
altough i didn'tt est if front usb problem or something in the connector cause sometime when i plug it Wireless from wired mode : it well plugged and it just refuse to move for like half a minute have to move it around for make it response or unplug the mouse n replug no bug what so ever afterward
i know :( just posted help to some people who can't make is own thread lol it was also used in 2010 around november last time i checked was suprise it was bump so i posted again the help to unbrick mamba many peopel thing it dead when it just sort of bricked lol
i guess the reason thread got bump is Google + Razer Mamba Problem! which by hazard posted Gamespot as Best Result in Page 1 :P
I may have a solution for you all. I have found taking out the battery and putting it back in again solves all problems! It seems to me to be some kind of firmware or hardware related problem; Powering off and on again must cycle the mouse's chipset or clear the memory because each and everytime my Mamba stopped working correctly , taking the battery out and in again solved the problem. I have had mostly pointer movement problems, and these seemed to appear when my mouse ran out of power and I went wired recharching it before going wireless again and then failing... I tried everything else, updating drivers, firmware, deleting other installed mice (hardware & drivers), playing around with the BIOS's IRQs and uPNP settings but to no avail. I really really beleive that it is hardware related. Take out the battery and see for yourselves!alzeihmer
Hi... tried your method worked for the first time.. but the problem returned in 5 mins and now it doesnt help(pulling out the battery)... i can even connect my charging dock now!...Plz help
