Prebuilt will be difficult.

Vista or XP? I can run all high sttings in XP for $600 at 1280x1024, not including moniter, speakers, etc.

Also I hope you don't need monitor, speakers, OS, etc becuase that would be impossible for $800.

For a prebuilt PC, you can't get this for $800. Prebuild your budget should be $1500-ish if you need monitor, speakers, etc. If you are building yourself, $1000 will do.

That's not impossible. If you can run at all high settings with a 8800GS, then it would be simple. I paid $650, got a Vista Basic, AMD 5000+ X2, EVGA 8600 GT, 3GB 667 Ram, speakers, keyboard, mouse, etc (who computer everything) and I can run it Crysis at all medium settigns. I could have bought the 8800GS for $40 more than my 8600GT (which was $70) but I didn't want to buy a new power supply as well. For $800 dollars, it would be easy.

An 8800GS won't exactly run crysis at 1280x800 on all high settings at 30fps... not to ruin your dreams. But it will still run crysis well.

Got any proof of that?

I run Crysis HIGH 30fps in XP at a higher res, 1280x1024.

It would not be easy.

You forgot moniter(150-200) and a power supply(at least 50), so thats another 200-250. I bought my computer for 600, not including OS, moniter, speakers, dvd burner, mouse, keyboard I already had them. So if you add in all that it would be more then 800.

Try building one, list the parts.
