I'm really stumped as to what I want to get. There are a few games I am interested in, but I've already played them on the 360 and I kinda want a fresh experience. I don't care if it's indie or something non mainstream because I like those games as well. The genres I like are:

Sandbox (Like GTA)

RPG(Skyrim, Fallout are my favorites)

Action (Games like Bayonetta)

Shooter (Single player only, I already have multiplayer ones that I play)

Those are really the genres I'm interested in right now. My specs are in my sig. Please reply quick I wanna play it tonight! Thanks!

EDIT: OOPS Forgot to tell you guys what games I already have =p

Burnout Paradise

COD MW3

CSS

Fallout 3

Fallout NV

GTA 4/EFLC

GTA 3

GTA Vice City

GTA San Andreas

Kingdoms of Amalur

L4D2

Mass Effect 1

Mass Effect 2

Max Payne 1

Max Payne 2

Painkiller

Red Faction Guerilla

Serious Sam 3

Skyrim

Sonic Generations

Starcraft 2

You're really limiting yourself right now with a 15 dollar budget. I'll keep looking and see if anything catches my eye. But with 15 bucks your best bet is to find a game that would be on sale but of course that wouldn't happen just tonight.

Uhhh, it might be $20, but try the Geneforge series. If not that, what about Super Meat Boy? I think that's $15.

I suppose I could do 20 bucks if the game is great, I'd prefer 15 but I can do 20 if needed.

Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is great, mostly because it has the first Riddick game remastered as well. It's $20, but that's just $5 more. Half Life (the original) is an awesome fps, though it's kind of pricey paying $10 for a game that's over ten years old. FEAR for $10 is a great deal, amazing ai, and great gunplay, one of the best fps made imo. STALKER Call of Pripyat is an awesome fps with rpg elements, it's also got a horror element if you don't like that. It's $15.

Get the orange box. It has Half Life 2, Half Life 2: Episode 1, Half Life 2: Episode 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2 I can confidently say half life is the best single player game experience in my steam library. $20 BTW

If you live in North America Mafia 2 is only $7.50 on Impulse (key registers on Steam) or Borderland GOTY is $7 on Amazon

You could try Gotham City Imposters. Just came out, it's pretty fun. It's like a mixture of CoD and TF2.

There's nothing really on sale at $15 right now. If you want you can add me on Steam, because sometimes I buy daily sales and store them in my inventory to trade for TF2 items, if there is somethign you really want and I paid $15 or less for it I might pass on that discount.

Also if the games don't have to be Steam games, I would suggest heading over to amazon which normally has a few games on for $15 or less

Skyrim and Fallout 3 are rather far from "RPG".

That said, I suggest Terraria and the first King's Bounty.

I second this. In that awesome list, I don't see the Half Life 2 games or Orange Box in there. Even though TF2 is free to play now, and Portal was once up for free, it's still a great deal just for the Half Life 2 game and episodes.

I third this. Though Team Fortress 2 is free now, its still 5 games in one package, which is a hell of a deal, especially at $20. It was a bargain at $60, and its a steal now.

This too, but I'd rather avoid suggesting it over the net to some stranger as it's quite the hardcore game and needs a bit of dedication to get working.

Yeah, they do, they definitely do.

You may also want to consider The Witcher, Magicka and Dark Messiah. All of them are different mixes of action/RPG, all of them are single player (Dark Messiah has MP but the game quite went under the radar so I believe it's not really active now), but if you're on a tight budget you'd rather wait for a Steam sale before picking them up.

If the orange box is only 20 bucks like people have been saying, and you haven't tried out those games, then fudge yeah. Half Life 2 is absolutely fantastic, and, while there are some things that are done better in other games, it's easily the best all-around single player first person shooter ever made. And Episode 1 and 2 are absolutely incredible add-ons. And, if you haven't tried Portal, oh man. Prepare to be blown away. Also, I saw some people mention Stalker. If that's that cheap too, and you don't go for the orange box for whatever reason, then jump on that. Stalker is also among the best single player fps ever, and is one of the games I alluded to that does a few things even better than HL2.

Dude, I used to love Dark Messiah multi-player. Me and my buddy would sit on opposite ends of the room, join any random server, and be a f***in unstoppable Warrior/assassin combo. That game was so sweet. Really bummed me out that the community went under so fast. I can't even find my old copy anymore, and it was installed on a Steam account that I gave away after I got orange box and made a new one. Now that I'm thinking about it, I might just go ahead and buy that again. There's gotta be someone online...

I concur. The game was very good. The melee combat was way ahead of its time and insanely fun at times. I have absolutely no clue about why it was received so poorly.

i can personally vouch for this guys list since i have most of the games in here with the exception of a few. but i also have the orang ebox games as well and thats most DEFINATLY worth a purchase...i didnt think id get into the HL story after playing other shooters but its not like the other shooters at all...that game stands tall among others. for 15 bucks the possibilities are pretty high...i mean The Witcher!!! Cmon!! its The Witcher!!! you can get that and another 5 dollar game......when you catch a sale. especially with games like dead space 1 and 2 going on sale at 5 bucks a pop...id say its definatly worth the wait...OR exploring the already vast 5 dollar and under library.

I'll recommend, highly, The Void or Necrovision. The void is a first-person rpg with drawing centred actions, but the story is abit vague and mysterious. Necrovision is a brother of painkiller, there's the swarm of enemies to plow throught but there's also the occasional duck and cover action..and robot ride and dragon ride sequences.

Unless you're just dying for a game now, just wait for some sales. A lot of the games mentioned so far, you could get three of those for $15.

I saw Crysis was suggested a few times. Now here's the thing with me and Crysis. I played the demo for it when it came out a long time ago and hated it. It ran decent so that wasn't it, but it just didn't feel right. Fast forward a few years after I've transitioned to Xbox gaming and I buy Crysis 2 on it. Thought it was really fun and visually stunning for the console but I found it a bit too easy. I was playing on the hardest difficulty, and if there was ever a hard part I could just stealth by them. Besides that though it was fun. (Hated the MP though)

So then like a year later Crysis comes to Games on Demand on the 360 and I buy it. It was definitely more fun playstyle wise then that demo was so long ago, but I couldn't really get into it. Anyway now that that's out of the way..in your guys honest opinion is playing Crysis on a pc that can max it with mods which I assume mine could to an extent, be worth it? Would it really be that gaming experience everyone raves on and on about? I've just been really hesitant about it..
