Red Alert 3 worth a shot?

After seeing the video trailer n such, it seems like a decent C&C game. Is it worth the pick-up?

despite my hate for it, I found myself having a significant amount of fun with it.

The game has a rather steep learning curve, but if you're familiar with a lot of C&C games, you may not need to worry.

I didn't like it as much as I like other C&C games but it worth a buy.

I can tell you that i had an extremely great time with ra3 and still hated uprising.

Most of what it costed was the commanders challenge which failed to amaze me. It was just preset skirmish modes, but you get to unlock a unit in the end.

For example, if you go play skirmish and put kenji as enemy, in a commander challenge mission it will put you in the same map with kenji, but add a "story" to it, like "Look, commander kenji wants to oppose you and claim this region for him, deafeat him commander!".

You can do the same in skirmish, just no shiny explanation and unit is already unlocked. Awesome!

red alert 3is a great game uprising is poop in a bag ONLY get it if you absolutely need to but seriously given the choice between uprising and tiberium twilight.. id go twilight ANYDAY OF THE WEEK (those words will never again pass my mouth regarding C & C 4)
