I have a dilemma going on. Should I buy RF Geurilla for 360 or PC.

PC SIDE :

Brand new and souped up

Havent got a lot of games for it

Might look better on PC

A vital £10 cheaper

360 SIDE :

1 friend has it

Easier controls?

No Installation

Really not sure :S

PC - Better controls, Keyboard + mouse, and when you say 360 side, easier controls, you DO know that you can use 360 gamepads with the computer right? I actually think that if gamepads are important to you then PC>Console, because Pc's have a much larger variety of gamepads too. Better graphics, cheaper, get the PC version.

PC will definatley have the better visuals assuming your have a good card. On the other hand i'd play where my friends play. And well, sitting on the couch in front a huge HDTV is a major plus.

I play on PC and Xbox. I generally make the choice on what platform to play on depending on who I want to play with. All my brothers play Call of Duty 4 on PC, so needless to say I do too ;)

Well I've played it on the ps3, and the controls are locked down and solid so I'm guessing it would be similar on the 360. If you know you're pc can handle and run it at the 30-60 fps that it is on the consoles then I'd definetly go for the pc. But if you think that it would be more practical to play it on the 360 then I'd go for that. The reason why I chose to play it on my console instead of my pc was because I think sandbox games often handle better rather than on the pc. To be honest I hate driving cars in general on the pc, it just seems more fluid to be to drive car with a joystick rather than ur wasd. Although the vehicles in RF Guerrilla aren't that important, i still prefer to play sandbox games on consoles, it's just a personal preference, same goes for the reason why I have gta IV on ps3 and not pc.

Yeah its rummoured to have NO DEDICATED SERVERS for PC... this means game will fail multiplayer wise. Look at MOH:Airborne and BIA:HH. They had no Dedicated Server Support, so the multiplayer was too laggy, then nobody played it.

I would wait with the PC Version, after all its a Port made from a different Developer as far as I know and It could turn out the same Result as Saints Row 2..

No dedicated servers? That has to be wrong, multiplayer would suffer severely with no dedicated servers.

That's what I heard, and that's the moment I no longer wanted this game...

I am currently enjoying it on PS3, but I kind of wish I would have waited to buy it on PC. I imagine the mods for this game are going to be incredible. Anyways, if you really can't wait, go for it on 360, the console versions are pretty good.

Might look better on PC? It's a given PC will look the best, it all depends on you, personally the only games I get for console are sports and a couple exclusives, everything else PC, depends on what you prefer.

You have easier controls under the 360? M/K own gamepads in shooters.

I would imagine it would be a bit heavy on your computer but if you look at the requirements or whatever and know it will run well then you should definitely get it for computer, but you should either ask or check if it will run fine first.

The multiplayer isn't very good anyway. They never even pretended to attempt to balance it. If you have a strong gun unlocked, you are unstoppable.

These are the same people that made Saint's Row 2. How did people like the PC release of that game? Hopefully they do better this time around, but I caved and bought the 360 version immediately once I thought about that part.

I've always personally preffered third person shooters on consoles, not sure why.

PC isn't being released for another month. I'd go with 360 because it's less likely not to suck (since a third party is doing the port to PC).

Yeah Saint's Row 2 on 360 is great, on PC its really badly optimized (still a fun game). I hope RFG on PC doesn't suck. RF1 was kick ass (never played 2nd)

2nd was awful, be glad you never played it :) Red Faction Guerilla is a VERY good game on consoles though. So hopefully the PC port is good. I could imagine that the physics might kill computers unless optimised well.

Yeah, I was suprised this game didn't get better reviews. I play it on PS3, and the physics never fail to impress me. The campaign was just fantastic, MP isn't bad either. All in all, its an amazing game, and I really hope the PC gets a quality port.
