Having watched the trailer for Red Orchestra, I was wondering whether there's a PC demo of it around anywhere?  The official site for the game doesn't mention one so is it in the pipeline and when will the full version be released?  It looks pretty good.

Nope, no demo, but the game is really fun.  It takes a while to get the hang of it, but once you do you will really enjoy it.

With any luck they'll have a free weekend of Red Orchestra, like they do regularly with DoD:Source.  The game looks interesting, but I'm not ready to put the money down without trying it.

Took me a while to get into it, but its an amazing and immersive game.  if you have UT 2004, you can download its prequel for free, it was originally a mod.

If you have Ut 2k4, can you still download the latest version and play it like that?

I just got this last night.  If you want some good impressions, check the gamespot review.  It's pretty spot on!  (no pun intended)  My only irk about the game is its rather lackluster performance, considering my system is pretty good and it's not a very pretty game.  It has a steep learning curve, but I'm starting to get the hang of it, and it's really cool.  A big departure from CoD or DoD.
