What was the first game (PC, Nintendo, Sega, PS, Xbox) you've played ever in your whole life?

How old is the oldest person you know (you included) who still plays video games?

Mario bros on the NES. My parents bought a NES console and Mario came along with it. I didn't even know what a videogame was. I was crazy like sh*t when I first played.

unless I'm mistaken, it was Pong on the atari...if not pong, then I remember breakout, and I know we had other games, but I don't remember anything about them.

edit: and btw, this is sadly my earliest memory.

The first console game I played was Alex Kidd in Miracle World on the Master System, around '88. I was four years old at the time.

The first PC game I played was Doom, around '94.

I started about the time rampage, and double dragon came out. I barely remember any of the games though. I was also a big fan of pinball.

Oregon Trail, I think.Hewkii

Ya, same here. But that was only at school. The first game I ever played at home or at a friend's house was problably contra or TMNT on the NES. I wasnt around for atari and the beginning, but I was around for NES onward.

The first PC game iirc I ever played was problably Wolfenstein 3D or Dune 2. There were older ones but I dont remember them too well.

Oh ya, and Chip's Challenge and Jezzball on windows 4.1

My first video game was Wolfenstein 3D. I was four years old and it gave me nightmares from hell, but it got me into gaming, so it's all good.

The oldest person I know who still plays games is my dad, and he's 56. He started playing PC games at the same time I did, when we first got a computer, so Wolfenstein is his first as well.

My first game was probably Age of Empires around 1999 or so. The first game I ever owned personally, however, was actually an old baseball title for the Nintendo 64. I started gaming relatively recently actually, about seven years ago.

Sounds like the Atari 800XL! :) Did you have a tape drive with it or did you just use cartridges?

I'm not afraid to admit it... my FIRST game was Pong. It wasn't by Atari or any known company now. Just Pong. It was just a console with two paddles attached by wire and it plugged into your TV. Then, my parents bought a Commodore PET computer and it was a couple of low rez games that were programmed in DOS. Gotta love the early 80's.

I started on the console PONG, and Space Invaders when I was 7. There is no such thing as too old unless you can't physically play anymore. The oldest person I know that still plays is 51. The youngest person I know that plays is 28. I'm 37.

i think my first ever game experience was Alex the Kidd on Sega Master System. it came on the machine without needing to install any cartridge. i got Sonic the Hedgehog 2 with that. maybe 1991 or 1992?

first ever PC game was Chuck Yeager's Air Combat.
