Remotes and accessories?

At Gamestop, they have different remotes and cool stuff for games. Well can you use oneremote for different games or is it just one remote for each game?

Okay, remotes for the PC is a new one for me (the only thing I can think of would be for Media Center PCs...but even then, I have yet to see a remote control for the PC). Now, for joysticks, you can use those in a variety of games, but it'll only benefit flight sims, combat flight sims, space sims, and mech sims. Basically, joysticks are for flight sims, racing wheels are for racing games, gamepads are for sports games, and the rest belong with the mouse/keyboard.
