Alright, i have been looking for a good game under 20$, and i have narrowed down my choice to either the chronicles of riddick and raibow six : vegas. They are both 20$ on D2D. Wich one should i get? I heard that r6 vegas is really not optimized, and im not sure how well it wil run on my system. I have tried the riddick demo and i like. Thanks in advance.
Can't go wrong with Riddick, however it is short with no multiplayer, most Rainbow Six games seem to me to have lackluster singeplayer and fun multiplayer. But I wouldn't be too worried about how either of them will run considering the sytem you've got.
I've never played Ridick, looks really good though, heard alot of great things from it, but I have played Vegas and that game is one of my top 10 no doubt, so do yourself the favor and play vegas instead, you will not regret it ! :D
i'd go with riddick. its not often that a really great single player fps experience comes out, and r6vegas is just a horrible port, dont expect it to run with more than 25-30 fraps on your rig.
You're just going to have to get both at some point :)
Chronicles of Riddick is a GREAT single player game.
Rainbow Six Vegas, although it's an un-optimized port, is still a fun single player game, plus you can play the entire single player campaign with a buddy in COOP. How many games let you do that? Not nearly enough ;)
Oh come onnnnn.... both games should run just fine, especially Riddick. If it was my choice I'd go with R6 hands down, just cuz I like to get the most bang for my buck, and R6 provides just that, considering Riddick lacks MP and is, as ppl mentioned, kinda short. And easy, if I might add. Nevertheless, do NOT miss out on Riddick... A definite classic, MUST play for any FPS fan. Played it three times already and am prolly gonna play it again soon (bored...). Still, go with R6 first if you're short on cash.
