Hi, i've been noticing lower FPS than i'd expect on these two games. I get around 40-60 FPS on Ultra for RIFT (I get pretty much same FPS if I turn everything up) and I'm getting around 40-60 FPS in populated areas, or if there is a lot of explosions for TF2. My spec are in my sig, should I be getting better performance in this?

You should be getting 100+ fps in Team Fortress 2 easily. Have you updated your video drivers and such?

Vsync on? odd to have a common max of 60 in both TF 2 and Rift. Don't know about Rift and multi GPU support, but TF 2 should run easily at over 100, assuming they didn't include any max frame caps, other than Vsync, to keep it balanced.

For TF2 multicore was disable, enabled it and it seems to be better. I'm still having low FPS for RIFt and was getting around 30-40 when it was raining.

Could be heatting issues, since those specs are overkill for these games.

Not trying to thread-jack but how do you view the FPS you're getting in game? I'm curious to see if I hit 100 FPS while maxing TF2.

Fraps.

I downloaded the newest Xfire profiles and was getting around 40-50 FPS today on RIFT. I also tried Crysis 2 today with DX11 and was getting around 30-60 FPS. What's with all the low FPS? I'll try out some other games (crysis and TW2) and see how they play.

I tested out The Witcher 2 and Crysis

With Crysis I got like 40-55 FPS with 35 during chaotic moments.

I got around 80-120 FPS in the dungeon in The Witcher 2

Both these games seem to be getting their appropriate FPS. Maybe the 11.6 drivers are causing the problems. Has anyone played RIFT or Crysis 2 (DX11) with 11.6 drivers?

Well Crysis 2 is kind of hard to run on ATI cards right now.

Any plans of patching/new drivers to fix performance? For now I'll just with the patches disabled.

Has anyone played RIFT with 11.6 drivers? It seems to be ranging anywhere from 30-55 FPS depending on what's happening. Also, I'm only on the early levels (lvl 1-12) so I haven't fought any really huge enemies yet, I'm afraid to imagine what my FPS would be then.
