RTS Game Of The Year?

Hi, so what do you think the RTS game of the year is??

World in Conflict- Innovative RTS game.

COH: Opposing Fronts- A stand alone expansion pack for COH.

Supreme Commander- A Sci-fi RTS game that was a sequal to Total Annilation.

C&C 3- The sequal to Tiberian Sun.

UAW- Made by the same people who used to make C&C games, ex-WW.

No Dawn of War.....probably the best out of all of thoseAdam-117

Dawn of war didn't come out this year, lol. But I agree, DOW ROCKS!

WiC... I hate that "Build a mini-city then go to war" crap... And in WiC you just call for reinforcements and you're off. You're "money" (reinforcement points) charge up without you doing anything, so you don't need to waste time mining or whatever.Ps2stony

I can guarantee you that C & C 3 won't get it,if it does,gamespot will NEVER EVER have ANY credibility again.

C & C3 is one of those RTS games where you just build ****loads of the cheapest units you can build and kill your enemies with sheer numbers.

Supreme Commander....it puts a lot of strategy back into RTS games.

Supreme Commander is more innovative than WiC. WiC has been done before in GC1/2. That being said, WiC will still be RTS of the year.

If its CnC3, I might quit gaming forever.

What is UAW?

WIC will win. Even though it shouldnt. WIC= Overrated

Yeah it has a great presentation, but how bad do you want to play this game? The bots suck ass, and the SP is meh. I agree the 5 vrs 5 multiplayer works well with the game, but this is not a game im craving to play.

8vs8=awesome imo. I personally didn't think the SP was spectacular but MP is what this game is known for(cant comment on bots, why play skirmish when you can go online?), yes I really like this game 30+ hours in it shows my thought about it =p. Very addicting.

I enjoyed WIC,SC and C&C. but I think I go with C&C I liked story, smooth graphic and also I started strategy by C&C in 1995 so no wonder it's still my favourite ;)

On-topic....none of those, the last two great RTS games ive Played was Dawn of War and Medival 2 Total, all those on the list are mediocre games, but out of those I guess I would have to say C&C3 maybe, dont really know, dont really care, just wanted to comment on Drazule's signature.

Universe At War: Earth Assault. People please look to this game and play the demo. It's awesome I tell you. It's not yet released though. It will come soon. Try watching the videos at gametrailers. It's impressing and unique.

Anyway, SC II will own all RTSs. ;)

Supreme Commander should be rts of the year but we know that its going to be wic

WIC is a show off whore. I hope SupCom or COH wins, but WIC will probably win. Remember "don't judge a book by it's cover", but the voters are doing just that by voting for WIC because it has high review score, and it looks pretty.

Don't get me wrong WIC is a good rts game and 5 vrs 5 is real fun at a LAN party or on the internet, but in terms of RTS depth it's just plain shallow.
