RTS time!

So I've decided that it's time for me to buy a good RTS to complete my current game addiction. I'm leaning towards Starcraft or WarCraft 3, WC3 because of the HoN and DotA game modes that provide variety, but Starcraft because last time I played it I was probably 10 and I don't remember the story line at all. So I have 2 questions:

1. How accessible are the online modes in those 2 games? Is it hard to win because everyone else is so good?

2. Are there any RTS's I'm missing?

Company of Heroes and Dawn of War 2 are more modern RTS games. I would buy those instead along with the expansions.

You can also try out World in Conflict, it has a fantastic single player and multiplayer. The gameplay itself is very accessible to newcomers of RTS games.

Oh yeah, you can buy all of the company of Heroes games for 12.50$ on steam via weekend deal. So I recommend you pick those games up games up now:)

ya. But better off doing comp stomp first.

there are alot of brilliant tactics in COH.

CoH is a real RTS game. Amazing strategies.
