I have a dell demension e521 the i custom made, 2G of ram and Amd dual core 3800 and a Nvidia 7600 gs 512 mb of ram. i love the computer but latly it hasnt been runing games very good. ive defraged it run virus scanes and it seems clean. help.

Update the drivers/close all things that your not using like firefox,AIM etc. also run anti spyware too.

Why would you need to update a 3800X2, I have one and the performance is unbelievable, no game has yet to really stress out my CPU. Only thing that is lacking behind is the GPU, but even that is not that bad. But I say that a 3800X2 is still one of the better CPU's out there.

the only thing i can suggest is getting a new video card that has gt in the name cause gs are not as good as gt.
