Hi, as some of you may know, TRIM is not functioning at all on sandforce drives with firmware version 5.02. There should be a firmware update released soon to fix this problem. I recently bought a corsair gs 240gb and here's what I'd like to know : Will I have to do a secure erase before/after the update to restore ssd performance or will TRIM start doing it's job and clear up the trash that was left behind while it wasn't working properly? Thanks.
